Congratulations for taking on the most important journey in your child’s start to early education. As a mom, I understand about finding the best fit to meet all your child’s needs. It takes time and research in finding an ideal school.

For more than 13 years, I was a registered interior architect experienced in designing office, retail and educational spaces. I found my passion in Design thinking, branding, implementing and building spaces, brands for business and corporations around the world. I have been involved in various projects that have lasted years to complete, such as large hotels and multi-level office projects, city planning for new developments and small-scale projects which included chairs, water bottle design, and graphics. In recent years, I was involved in many LEED certified buildings and projects. So, you might ask what does this have to do with my child and preschool? My answer is everything. The children of today are leaders of tomorrow. They are the ones who need to ask critical questions, to stand in front the group and express their ideas, be at the forefront of the solving problems, innovating and making contributions to the world around them.

Creative and critical thinking is a skill embedded into a child by the age of two. The Dots here at Dot to Dot are always encouraged to ask questions, become explorers, encouraged to use the table and floor as a painting easel, and even make music with sticks and the railing on the playground. The process of coming back to a project over and over again and finally see it complete is a magical moment only our Dots get to experience. Instead of creating “cookie cutter” pieces many of our projects take three to four months to complete, and everyone in the school has a part in final completion. I am committed in implementing the best program in collaboration with my experienced team who instills the love of learning. Our goal at Dot to Dot is to opens our Dot’s eyes and perspectives to the world around them so our Dots can be aware of the possibilities out there and truly “connect the dots.

When I am not at Dot to Dot, I love to play chopped kitchen with my daughter, watch documentaries with my family, explore San Diego, swim, play tennis, and plan ideas for Dot to Dot. I look forward to seeing your family here at Dot to Dot and cannot wait to give them a big hug!
