Hello, I am Erica, one of the Core Facilitators and have been with the Dot To Dot community since Jan of 2022; time really flies by! I was born and raised in sunny San Diego along with my two younger sisters.
In 2011, I left San Diego to attend Chico State but my heart brought me back home after earning my bachelor’s degree in child development. I have been working with young children for almost 10 years and it all started with babysitting my younger sisters! Being at Dot To Dot has changed the way I view early childhood education and the impactfulness in giving children immersive experiences through play, explorations, and connections. It’s opening up a space for children to lead through their wonders, curiosities, and endless possibilities all while instilling a love for learning.
When I’m away from Dot to Dot, some of the things I enjoy doing are spending time with my family and friends, going for a good long run, or finding a new food place to try out! You can also find me reading a good book or listening to a crime podcast.
