My name is Aaron and I’m the Chef/Food Atelierista at Dot to Dot. I was born in the Philippines before moving to New York when I was 6. I attended school at the Culinary Institute of New York before moving to study abroad at the lstituto Professionale Statale Servizi per L’enogastronomia in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. I then worked in a variety of fine dining restaurants in New York City before moving to San Diego in 2017. Throughout my journey, I realized that food, cooking, and mealtimes are intrinsic to the human experience.
At Dot to Dot, we want to develop that wonder, joy, and appreciation for food, where it comes from, and how it brings us together. We want to celebrate our different cultures, the bounty of food provided by our planet, and how different foods make us feel. I am so passionate about working with our young ones alongside our educators to encourage and foster a loving relationship with food that will continue to grow throughout their lives.
